Customizable Company Metadata fields make Fundstack exceptionally adaptable. You can configure different Company Types fit with relevant metadata fields to accommodate all of your team's workflows. Read more about Company Types here.
Company Metadata fields are created and managed under Company Types on the Admin panel.
Creating Company Metadata
Your account comes with a Default Company Type with no Metadata fields preinstalled.
To add custom Metadata fields, simply click the 'Add Custom Field' button. You'll be prompted to name the Custom Field and select the field type. You can select from a variety of options, some (such as Dropdown) require extra configuration.
If you include a Reporting Period and Desired Trend, the field will be created as a table in the Metrics section of Company records.
Managing Company Metadata
You can add data to your Metadata fields from Company record pages. Make sure the Company is set to the correct Company Type so that the relevant fields are available. Metrics are updated from the Metrics tab.
