How to Integrate Typeform and Fundstack
Step 1: Create a Zapier account
You can create a Zapier account by visiting Zapier's website. They have a free plan that allows for up to 5 'Zaps' (small programs that connect one software to another), each with up to 2 steps. There are multiple premium tiers that allow for more Zaps with more steps.
It is recommended for a Typeform integration that you have at least the 'Starter' tier since multiple steps are required for almost all Typeform Zaps.
Step 2: Request access to Fundstack's integration
Whilst we work on our Zapier integration, we're keeping it private. This doesn't mean you can't use it - you'll just have to email firstname.lastname@example.org to be granted access.
Step 3: Building your Zap
Once logged in and connected you can start to make your Zap.
Simply click the 'Make a Zap' button at the top-right of Zapier's homepage to begin.
Step 4: Select Typeform as a Trigger
Your Trigger App is the app that will be used to trigger the Zap. You can find the available Triggers for Typeform here.
Step 5: Select the Actions/Searches you want to perform
Almost all of our customers using a Typeform integration want to be able to transfer incoming deal proposals into Fundstack so I'll be using that as the example here.
First, click 'Add a Step' after selecting your Typeform Trigger, select 'Action/Search', and then select the Fundstack app.
Next, select Fundstack's 'Create Company' action. This will take one of your Typeform fields (normally the proposal company's name) and create it as a Company in Fundstack.
After creating the Company, you can add a Person into Fundstack. Click 'Add a Step' again and follow the same process, except this time selecting 'Create Person'.
You can connect this Person to the previously created Company by adding another step and selecting the 'Attach Person to Company' Action. In this step you'll need to refer back to the 'Create Company' and 'Create Person' steps to get the Company and Person IDs. This is easily done. When inputting the Company ID dropdown, simply select the 'Create Company' dropdown and click 'Created ID'. The same applies for Person ID.
You can add numerous other bits of information like a Note or Origination using the other Fundstack Actions. Each follows a similar process to adding Companies, People, and attaching them.
We understand that creating a Zap can be complicated at first. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email email@example.com and I'll be happy to help you through the process.
